Wils. That song was the personal creation of a fella called Mick.Him and 3 mates always went together and he used to sing that on his own til gradually it caught on.Of the 4 only Stevie D still goes now,and he wont go home games.

you find a dead cat and you think its a treat

If you've Declan you know it, clap your hands,
If you've Declan you know it, clap your hands,
If you've Declan you know it, and you really want to show it,
If you've Declan you know it, clap your hands.

Cheesy as fuck but short & sweet.

We've got Rice, very, very nice,
Show him the goal, he won't think twice,
Tip-tap pass-i-o taking on the team,
Scores a goal and we all scream

You’re probably not allowed to sing about northerners now. Spurs supporters group has come out today complaining about their own fans signing ‘sign on’ to Liverpool, what has the world come to….

I know a few who go regularly and have season tickets. Also saw a bunch out in Lyon and Frankfurt.

Wils. We’re right next to the away supporters and sing it at least twice a game against wife beating northern cunts. Hope that helps.

Started in the 90s lol.

This song is older than most of the posters on here.

I'm in the Trev. When was it sung this season?

Dicko's estimate of 91-93 sounds about right to me.

I'm sure it goes a way back before then! Definitely an 80's song, if not 70's!

Started at Barnsley away I think. Can’t quite remember the year but think it was between 1991-93

How do northerners get tickets to away games? One of the unexpected negatives of moving to the OS for me is that it's now impossible to get tickets to away games if you're not a STH with a ton of points.

I managed a load of northern away games in the years after I first moved away from London, dunno if I'll ever make an away game again now.

Heard the Ludo song from time to time even at home matches. But the 'northern bastard' has been years.

Unfortunately those type of songs died when we moved to the OS. No chance of this being sung at home again. I would say the same with the Ludo song and a few others which the majority of fans who attend home games probably do not know the words too...

However, at the away days these songs are still sung. Albeit there are now quite a few northerners who are at the away games so maybe not as much

"It gets sung for every northern team."

Haven't heard it for years even when playing a northern teams. Not a regular at northern away matches admittedly, but haven't heard it at home since Upton Park days.
